DJ & The Yams is a critically-acclaimed funk band based in Manhattan, NYC.
The current band members are Franklin Rankin (guitar), Manny William (bass), Elé Howell (drums), and DJ Scaife (piano, vocals). Fronted by DJ Scaife, the Yams are comprised of musicians from a kaleidoscope of cultural backgrounds. Through high performance sound art, they seek to influence the world with innovative and sustainable forms of musical enrichment. The result is a live musical experience that is truly ALIVE.
